St James's Paddington, W2 3UD , [Venue Details]The Rodolfus Choir is a leading UK youth choir for young people aged 16-23, many of whom have attended a Rodolfus Choral Course. Singers from across the UK are invited to sign up to take part in exciting events throughout the year.
Our aim is to offer professional, high-quality choral singing opportunities and to share wonderful choral repertoire with diverse audiences across the UK and beyond. A key highlight in our annual calendar is the concert season between Christmas and New Year when the Choir performs two concerts of festive choral repertoire.
Our first concert this year sees the choir return to perform in St James's Church, Sussex Gardens in the heart of London. Join us to enjoy inspiring works by J S Bach (Lobet den Herrn), Michael Higgins (Bring us, O Lord God), Palestrina (Alma redemptoris Mater & Hodie Christus natus est) and Poulenc (Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël), as well as contemporary carols by Cecilia McDowall, Adrian Peacock, Stephen Sametz, Lucy Walker, Eric Whitacre and Alison Willis.
